The new Lupon Overland Transport Integrated Terminal (LOTIT) was finally inaugurated yesterday, January 18, 2022, in a thanksgiving mass and inauguration ceremony attended by the town officials headed by Hon. Mayor Erlinda D. Lim and Vice Mayor Santos Q. Alonzo, Jr., municipal employees, invited provincial officials, guests and the people of Lupon.
The establishment of an integrated public utility terminal is a priority project of the present municipal administration, it has a wide parking space which can accommodate several buses, vans and jeepneys. The said terminal boasts of its modern design and facilities, it has clean rest rooms, waiting sheds for commuters, and a wide waiting area.
There is a place also for “Bagsakan” or Trading Post of livestock and fresh vegetables wherein the goods or products delivered or unloaded by some farmers from different places to sell their produce in bulk orders for retail.
Mayor Erlinda D. Lim described the LOTIT as a landmark project – a public terminal that feels and functions more convenient. It would offer the commuters a safer and convenient terminal experience with state-of-the-art amenities.
She then congratulated some important person for the milestone project.
