The presence of the Negosyo Center in the Municipality of Lupon aims to provide better and more efficient services to MSMEs.
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can now avail of complete assistance in starting and handling a business with the launching and opening of the Negosyo Center in the town.
The Launching Program started with a Blessings of the new building and was attended by the officials of the Municipal Government of Lupon headed by Municipal Mayor Erlinda D. Lim, Department Heads, Lupon Market Vendors Association, representatives from DTI Davao Oriental with the Provincial Director Jose Calub, invited guests from different local businessmen, civil society organizations and lending institutions.
The Negosyo Center is among the programs of DTI for MSME development to promote ease of doing business; facilitate access to grants and other forms of financial assistance, Shared Service Facilities (SSF) and other equipment, and other support for MSMEs through national government agencies (NGAs); ensure management guidance, assistance and improvement of the working conditions of MSMEs; and facilitate market access and linkaging services for MSMEs.
Mayor Lim emphasized the importance of putting up a Negosyo Center as it will increase income of local entrepreneurs while promoting investments in the municipality.
DTI Davao Oriental OIC-Provincial Director Jose Calub highlighted the importance of RA 10644. He also said that MSMEs can avail of various assistance and services catered by the Negosyo Center in Lupon.
This Negosyo Center in Lupon is located at the Municipal Avenue, Poblacion, Lupon, Davao Oriental.
