The orientation was conducted this afternoon and participated by all Department Heads of this LGU, 21 Punong Barangays, Academe, DILG and the DOSCST Research and Development headed by Roy G. Ponce, Ph.D.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) commissioned Davao Oriental State College of Science and Technology as DILG’s partner Local Resource Institute to conduct the survey and serve as an intermediary body between the local government unit and the citizens.

“This academic institution, which is known for having the expertise in social research and community development, will serve as our intermediaries,” DILG said.
