The proposed project is 16 MW (installed capacity) run-of-river Hydro Power Plant will be located along Sumlog River of Lupon, Davao Oriental.
The Alsons Energy Development Corporation (AEDC) was awarded Hydropower Service Contract (HSC) by the Department of Energy HSC Nos. 2014-06-442 and 2014-06-443. The HSCs allows AEDC the exclusive right to explore, develop and utilized the hydropower resources of the Sumlog River.

The proposed project will also contribute as part of the long term solution for the existing problem experience within the Province of Davao Oriental.
